The Department of International Studies, Political Science and History organised a training session for first year HEP on 8th and 9th September 2021.The session was attended by around 85 students and the session was handled by Jibrael Jos.

We started out with trying to find words that the batch wanted to be remembered for when they graduated from college. Then we moved onto an activity where we needed to creatively write down certain things about us in a colourful manner, say our aspirations, the places we grew up in, our strengths, and our plans for the future and college life. We were then asked to draw a few other objects on the same piece of paper. As specified by sir, all of these activities were tools of self-introspection. We then reviewed the google forms all of us had filled earlier, which had then been grouped and categorised. Through that, we were able to figure out the collective strengths and weaknesses of the class. All the while we were doing the art work, sir asked certain students to speak on topics that had been given to them beforehand. Overall, it was a very engaging session, and encouraged everybody’s participation.
